fertilization The collected eggs are then kept
with male sperm under environmentally controlled
condition inside a chamber. The sperm enters the
egg after a few hours, and the egg gets
fertilized, which further divides to become an
embryo. The lining of the womb receives the
embryo and for that woman is given progesterone
or hCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin).

5.Embryo transfer With the help of a thin tube
(catheter), the embryo is transferred inside the
womb through the vagina. A healthy embryo growth
can start once the embryo sticks to the lining of
the woman's womb.
