• Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, also known
  as the Mysore Zoo is one of the best zoological
  gardens in India. Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar
  established this Zoo in the year 1892 for the
  Royals. Furthermore, after the attainment of
  freedom, it was handed over to the Department of
  Parks and Gardens of the State Govt.

  terrestrial birds, and Primates to reptiles, one
  Hundred and Sixty-Eight species find their place
  in this zoo.
