why do we have wisdom teeth?

• According to a study about the history of wisdom
  teeth, these teeth are the remains of molars,
  which their numbers were more than present.
• In the past, because people consumed raw meat,
  their jaws were bigger than our jaws also, there
  were more molars than us. By changing the humans
  way of eating and using cooked food, the humans
  jaw became smaller, and the number of teeth
  decreased. The wisdom teeth seem to be one of the
  molars from that period.
• Regarding the name of the wisdom tooth, it seems
  it is due to the time of growth, as it grows
  between the ages of 17 to 25.

• The wisdom tooth refers to the last tooth in
  every arc of the jaw, which usually grows between
  the ages of 17 to 25, and dentists call the third
  molar.
• Usually, everybody has two wisdom teeth in the
  upper jaw, and two wisdom teeth in the lower jaw.

  surgery is needed. In this case, an emergency
  dentist makes an incision on the surface of your
  gum to remove the tooth. Sometimes, the dentist
  cuts the tooth into smaller pieces before
  removing it.
