- Good academic record with at least 55 marks or
equivalent grade, on a point scale, in a masters
degree from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign
university. - Should have cleared UGC NET Exam / CSIR UGC NET
Exam conducted by National Testing Agency or
similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET /
SET.
6Education Qualification for Associate Professor
- Good academic record with a PhD degree in the
concerned discipline 55 marks or equivalent
grade on a point scale, wherever grading system
is followed, at the masters level. - A minimum of eight years experience of teaching/
research in a position equivalent to that of
Assistant Professor in a University / Research
Institution / Industry, excluding the period of
research for PhD degree should have guided
research at the doctoral level and have a minimum
of 5 publications as books/research papers. - Contribution to educational innovation such as
the design of new curricula and courses, and
technology-mediated teaching process.
