  trained in prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital,
  Mumbai, he gained widespread experience in
  Radiotherapy Treatment Planning, high precision
  techniques and multidisciplinary patient care. In
  his previous stints as Assistant Professor and
  Incharge, Dept. of Radiation Oncology at Cancer
  Research Institute, HIHT University, Dehradun and
  Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Apollo Cancer
  Hospitals, Hyderabad.

Breast Cancer - Overview

• Breast cancer is one of the commonest cancers
  among women worldwide with approximately 1.4
  million new cases diagnosed every year. The
  chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer
  some time during her life is 1 in 8. The chance
  of dying from breast cancer is about 1 in 35.
  Breast cancer death rates have been going down.
  This is probably the result of finding the cancer
  earlier and better treatment.

Symptoms of Breast Cancer

• Lump or mass in your breast

• Changes in breast size, shape, skin texture or
  color
• Skin redness
• Dimpling or puckering
• Nipple changes or discharge
• Nipple pulling to one side or a change in
  direction
