4What are the Causes of HIV?
- On getting infected, HIV starts destroying CD4T
cells i.e., the WBCs (White Blood Cells). As a
result, WBCs fail to fight against disease and
infection. On sharing needles, sexual contact and
injecting drugs it spreads from a person to
another via various bodily fluids.
5Stages of HIV?
6Stage-1. Primary
- Flu like illnesses will be occurred after2-6
weeks of getting infected. Even no symptoms can
be experienced at all yet it can get transferred
to other as well.
7Stage-2. Asymptomatic
- Though no potential symptoms can be experienced
at all yet swollen glands can be there. This
stage lasts about 10 long years and HIV
antibodies can be detected.
8Stage-3. Symptomatic
- Certain symptoms such as skin disease and fever
will be experienced. As the immune system gets
deteriorated there is a high chance of cancer and
opportunistic infections.
9Stage-4. Occurrence of HIV /AIDS
- Weakening of the immune system leads to numerous
critical illnesses. AIDS is much likely to occur
in this stage along with risk of cancers and
other infections.
10How HIV gets transmitted?
Blood, semen, breast milk, vaginal fluid,
synovial fluid and cerebrospinal fluid are also
help in its transmission.
