What is Stainless Steel Wire Rod?

• Wire rod is a rolled alloy or non alloy steel
  product, produced from a semi (e.g. bloom) and
  having a round, rectangular or other
  cross-section.
• Particularly fine cross-sections may be achieved
  by subsequent cold forming (drawing).

What is Stainless Steel Wire Rod?

• Wire rod is wound into coils and transported in
  this form.
• Hot-rolled wire having a round section with a
  diameter between 5 and 10 mm.
• Wire rod is produced on special wire-rod mills or
  combination wire-rod-section mills and wound into
  coils by coiling machines.
• Most wire rod goes into the production of
  cold-drawn wire up to 0.01 mm in diameter.
• Springs and reinforced-concrete fittings are also
  made from steel wire rod.

  supplied in various conditions like Hot Rolled,
  Annealed Pickled. If needed, wire rods are also
  coated for better performance in drawing and
  packed in sea-worthy packing.
