2What is COVID-19
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a communicable
disease caused by a newly discovered
coronavirus. Most people infected with the
COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate
respiratory disease and recover without requiring
special treatment. Older people, and people with
underlying medical problems like disorder,
diabetes, chronic respiratory illness, and cancer
are more likely to develop serious illness. The

- Dry cough.
- Tiredness.
- Less common symptoms-
- Aches and pains.
- Sore throat.
- Diarrhoea.
- Conjunctivitis.
- Headache.
- Loss of taste or smell.
- Rash on skin, or blemish of fingers or toes.

- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.
- Chest pain or pressure.
- Loss of speech or movement.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you've got
serious symptoms. Always call before visiting
your doctor or clinic. - People with mild symptoms who are otherwise
healthy should manage their symptoms reception. - On average it takes 56 days from when someone is
infected with the virus for symptoms to point
out, however it can take up to 14 days.
5PREVENTION OF
COVID-19
Wash your hands again and again with soap and
water
Clean them with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Always Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or
sneezing every single moment.
6Maintain a minimum of 1 metre distance between
you and other people coughing or sneezing.
Always avoid hand shake because it could be a
main cause of spreading the COVID-19.
Also Refrain from smoking, drinking and any other
activities that weaken the lungs. Practice
physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary
travel and staying faraway from large groups of
individuals and Stay home if you feel unwell.
