• The Planmeca ProMax 3D Max is a 3D imaging
  device that produces all required volume sizes
  for diagnosing the maxillofacial region from
  the smallest specialized cases to images of the
  entire skull.

• Planmeca ProMax 3D Classic's Braces imaging
  protocol is ideal for orthodontics, as images
  captured using it show metal brackets with true
  precision. The unit has been certified for use
  with the SureSmile treatment system.

• Planmecas user interface designers have also
  designed a completely new graphical user
  interface to all Planmecas 2D and 3D X-ray
  units. The big interface guides the user to a
  fluent workflow with clear and explicit texts and
  preprogrammed target sites and exposure values.

• In addition to these improvements, Planmeca
  introduces a new panoramic imaging modality to
  Planmeca ProMax 3D Max and a new, bigger sensor
  to Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid, thanks to which the
  biggest volume size generated by the unit is now
  up to 20x18 cm. This also signifies a
  considerable improvement to the image quality as
  well as a larger target area. At the same time,
  the size of the SmartPan panoramic image
  increases.

• A new sensor generation is also taken into use in
  Planmeca ProMax 3D Classic and Planmeca ProMax
  3D s units, so the improvement in image quality
  also applies to these units.
