• STATUE OF LIBERTY
• It is an enormous neoclassical model on Liberty
  Island in New York Harbor in New York, in the
  United States. The copper sculpture, a blessing
  from the individuals of France to the individuals
  of the United States, was planned by French stone
  worker Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and its metal
  system was worked by Gustave Eiffel. The
  sculpture was devoted on October 28, 1886.

• Bartholdi was enlivened by a French law educator
  and lawmaker, Édouard René de Laboulaye, who is
  said to have remarked in 1865 that any landmark
  raised to U.S. autonomy would appropriately be a
  joint venture of the French and U.S. people
  groups. Due to the post-war shakiness in France,
  chip away at the sculpture didn't start until the
  mid 1870s. In 1875, Laboulaye suggested that the
  French money the sculpture and the U.S. give the
