Roy Blackburn worked as medical director at
Johnson Regional Rehabilitation, Clarksville, AR
in 2003, and also afforded his services at
Lovelace Pain Clinic (outpatient clinic,
employee), Albuquerque, NM as a Physician for two
years from 2001-2003.

Dr. Roy Blackburn was born in Jacksonville,
Florida in 1958. His father was a dentist in the
navy and his mother graduated from Emory
University and was the first woman to enroll in
that University.

Roy Blackburn graduated high school from
Benedictine Military School, an all boy Catholic
military school. During his university years, he
worked at a food co-op and also construction
work.

Dr. Roy Blackburn completed his biology degree in
1982 at Augusta University and was fortunate
enough to be able to travel to Europe, including
Eastern Europe. While growing up, Dr. Roy
Blackburn was interested in music and medicine.
He had begun playing guitar at the age 9 and
later took piano and voice lessons.
