  three and they are
• Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300)
• Partner Visa Onshore/inside Australia (Subclass
  820 801)

Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300)

• Partner visa onshore is for those whose partner
  is staying inside Australia at time of applying
  for the visa
• Prospective Marriage Visa is for bringing your
  fiance to Australia. Means you can bring her/him
  to Australia before marriage.
• After the wedding you can consider applying for
  the permanent visa.
• While applying for this visa, the fiance should
  be outside Australia.

Partner Visa Offshore (Subclass 309 Subclass
100)

• Partner visa offshore is for those whose partner
  is staying outside Australia at time of applying
  for the visa.
• Firstly you have to apply for a Partner Temporary
  visa (Subclass 309).
• While applying for this visa your partner should
  be outside Australia.
• On approval of this visa then you can stay in
  Australia with your partner.
• On completion of 2 years of genuine relationship
  with your partner, you may grant a permanent
  partner visa (Subclass 100).

Partner Visa Onshore (Subclass 820 Subclass
801)

• To be eligible for this visa then your partner
  should be An Australian citizen or a permanent
  resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
• On approval of this visa then you can stay in
  Australia with your partner.
• After 2 years of provisional visa (Subclass 820),
  immigration department will assess to see if you
  are eligible for a permanent partner visa
  (subclass 801).
• On obtaining Subclass 801 you can live
  permanently with your partner in Australia.
