Vallamkali
Vellamkali represents the cultural heritage of
Kerala. It is a traditional boat race and held in
front of the Aranmula temple. Vanchipattu is sung
by the participants and it is one of the main
tourist attractions. It is mainly performed
during the time of Onam. Each snake boat having a
length of 30 to 35 meters.

Pulikali
It is the folk art of Kerala and mainly aimed to
entertain the peoples. It is mainly performed on
the 4th day of Onam. The theme behind the
pulikali is tiger hunting. It is performed by
trained artists and they are makeup like tigers.
It is mainly done in Thrissur city and it is
attracted by a thousand of peoples.
