  • About- Achilles tendinitis also called Achilles
    tenosynovitis, Achilles tendinopathy, calcaneal
    tendinitis, or tendinitis of the heel is an
    overuse injury of the Achilles Tendon, which
    connects the calf muscle to the heel bone and it
    is more common in men than women.
  • Symptoms-
  • Heel pain and tenderness
  • Swelling and discomfort in the back heel Calf
    muscles stiffness
  • Limited range of motion
  • Causes-
  • A sudden increase in physical activity
  • Exercising without a proper warm-up
  • Poorly fitting shoes
  • Being older
  • Obesity
  • Tight calf muscles
  • Flat arch in the foot
  • Sports activities such as tennis, those require qu
    ick stops and changes of direction
  • Straining the calf muscles during repeated
