About AFCAT Exam
  • Air Force Common Admission Test is well known by
    AFCAT.
  • Exam is conducted by Indian Air Force.
  • It is conducted to recruit entry-level officers
    in
  • Flying Branch,
  • Technical Branch, and
  • Non - technical Branch.
  • It is conducted twice a year as AFCAT-I and
    AFCAT-II.

Eligibility
  • The eligibility for various posts are different
    as mentioned below  
  • 1. Nationality A candidates must either be
  • a citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before
    the 1st January, 1963.
  • 2. Educational Qualification Requirements
  • Flying Branch Required min of 60 in Maths and
    Physics at 2 Graduation in any discipline with
    60 Or BE/BTech with 60 or equivalent.

  • Technical Branch Require 2 with 60 in Physics
    and Mathematics and degree/integrated
    post-graduation in Engineering/Technology..
  • Ground Duty or Non Technical Branch
     Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60.
  • Education Branch  Completed MBA/MCA or MA/MSc in
    English/Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/
    Statistics/ International relations/
    International Studies/ Defence Studies/
    Psychology/ Computer Science/ IT/ Management/
    Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relation
    with 50 and 60 in graduation.

  • AFCAT Exam Syllabus
  •  General Awareness, Verbal Ability in
    English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and
    Military Aptitude Test
  • EKT - Mechanical, Computer Science and
    Electrical Electronics
  • AFCAT Exam Pattern
  • The question of AFCAT will have a total of
    100 objective questions. Total marks allotted to
    the test are 300
  • EKT will have a total of 50 questions.
    Maximum marks allotted to the test are 150.
  • Exam Language English
