  • Anaemia - condition - red blood cells

TREATMENT OF ANEMIA
  • Treatment for nutritional deficiencies anaemia is
    through a varied diet, including mineral rich and
    fortified foods and vitamin and minerals
    supplements if appropriate
  • The dietary guidelines for Americans
  • 2015-2020 recommended the following daily
  • Intake of iron,folate.vit-B 12
  • For men's 12-30 yrs. to give 8g of iron,2-4g of
    vit-B12,
  • 400g of folate
  • For womens30yrs to give 18g of iron,2-4g of
    vit-B12,
  • 400g of folate.

HOW TO PREVENT ANEMIA
  • Eat plenty of iron rich foods ,such as tofu,
    green and leafy vegetables.
  • Red meat,lentils,beans and iron-fortified
    cereals and bread
  • Eat and drink vitamin-c rich foods and drinks
  • Avoid drinking tea or coffee with your
  • Meals, as they can affects iron absorption
