DUTIES OF THE DATA PROTECTION SPECIALIST
  • 1) The DPO shall maintain an organization 's
    personal data processing record. The contact
    details of the data protection specialist will be
    published on your organisation's website. The
    first and last name of the data protection
    specialist is also published in the list of
    contacts for internal use.
  • 2) The DPO responds to your customers 'inquiries
    as to whether and how their personal data is
    processed and addresses issues related to the
    modification, restriction of use and deletion of
    customers' personal data
  • 3) The DPO advises the employees of your
    organization on how their personal data is
    protected within the organization
  • 4) the DPO shall co-operate with the Data
    Protection Inspectorate if the latter has made an
    inquiry or a leak of personal data has occurred,
    after which the DPO shall prepare a corresponding
    report to the Data Protection Inspectorate
  • 5) The DPO trains your employees on personal data
    protection procedures and measures so that each
    employee can implement them
  • 6) The DPO regularly tests the compliance of
    personal data processing processes and provides
    recommendations to the management for changes in
    information systems, processes / internal
    regulations
