  blood sugar levels. It affects around 422 million
  people worldwide and is one of the leading causes
  of death globally.

  people in the country over the age of 20 years is
  suffering from it. Taking preventative measures
  can stop this silent disease from taking lives.

Types of Diabetes

• There are two main types of this condition Type
  1 and Type 2.
• Type 1 diabetes occurs when our body produces
  little or no insulin, a hormone that controls the
  glucose level in bloodstream. People with Type 1
  diabetes have to use insulin injections. 
• Type 2 diabetes occurs when our body produces
  insulin, but the body does not respond correctly
  to it, giving rise to insulin resistance.

Symptoms

• Watch out for some of the common symptoms of
  Diabetes, including increased thirst and hunger,
  frequent urination, and unexplained weight loss.
  If these symptoms are not addressed timely and
  appropriately, they may lead to kidney failure,
  blindness, and other complexities.
