• High-performance concrete (HPC) is concrete that
  has been designed to be more durable, with low
  shrinkage and low permeability with high modulus
  of elasticity and it is stronger than
  conventional concrete.
• Because of the low water to cement ratio and the
  presence of other materials, HPC proves better
  than ordinary concrete.
