Set up your first campaign
  • Youll create your first ad campaign in this
    process. This is when youre going to write your
    first ad, decide how much you want to pay, and
    with your ad, select the audience you want to
    target. of these steps well walk you through
    and give tips to help you start right, so dont
    worry if youre not sure what to do. Once you
    have finished creating your account and your ad
    is accepted and starts collecting clicks, you
    will not be paid. The acceptance of your ad takes

    Google Ads account, you can always pause your
    campaign and make adjustments. 1. Deciding how

Set your bid
  • With Google Advertising, when a potential
    customer clicks your ad, you set the highest
    price youre willing to pay. Your overall
    cost-per-click (CPC) bid is called this.

  • Generally speaking, the higher your bid and the
    more important your advertising and keywords are
    the more likely your ad will appear on the page
    at a higher position. When designing your first
    campaign, you have 2 bidding options Let your
    bids be automatically handled by Google Ads to
    get you the most possible clicks inside your
    budget. This is the fastest bidding technique
    thats perfect for new advertisers or someone who
    doesnt want to set up and handle their bids for
    a lot of time. To set your own maximum CPC bid
    number, use manual bidding. For more seasoned

    is excellent.

  • When you capitalize the first letter of each word
    in your headline and ad text, your text ad can
    stand out more to potential customers.

    section to begin with.
  • Enter your URL for the landing page. After they

  • Join a headline attracting publicity. To work
    with, you have two headline fields, each allowing
    up to 30 characters. These headline fields will
    appear, separated by a hyphen, next to each

    lines. Make sure that when read separately from
    each other, the two headline fields are easily
    scannable and make sense. Try to include in the
    headline at least one of your keywords so that
    people instantly know that you deliver something
    similar to what they are searching for.

    summary. Be sure to include a call to action and
    one or two of your keywords, like Buy Now or Call
    Today. To put your ad aside, consider
    highlighting a particular price or promotion
  • Check the box next to Allow Phone Calls from your
    ad and enter your phone number if you want your
    ad to drive phone calls to your company
    (currently available in select countries). On
    mobile devices, your ad will show a phone number
    or press the Call button. Google can use a
    special forwarding number to help you watch how
    many calls youre getting from your ad.
  • Tap on Save. In order to switch to the next
    stage, press Save and Proceed.

Set up billing and start advertising
  • Youll need to request correct billing details to
    complete the sign-up process and get your latest
    ad in front of potential customers. Note, once
    your ad starts appearing and gets its first
    click, you wont be paid. When you sign in to
    your new account, you can modify your billing
    details at any time.

How Google Ads billing works
  • Using automatic payments, most advertisers pay
    for Google Advertising. Youre only paid with
    automatic fees after you accrue advertising
    expenses, so youre not billed in advance. Either
    30 days after your last automatic fee or when you
    hit a predetermined amount (known as your billing
    threshold), whichever comes first, Google
    automatically charges you. To control your
    expenses, you can also make manual payments at
    any time.

  • Click the Billing Country drop-down menu after
    you have checked your ad and campaign settings
    and pick the country or territory where your
    billing address is located. The billing options
    that are available for your location and currency
    are set by your billing country. If you choose
    your billing country and are not asked to enter

    building your account, you will need to enter
    your billing information into Google Ads. Until
