While he now serves as a psychiatrist in SC, Dr.
Joseph Markowitz once spent 6 years working at a
Suboxone clinic for veterans during the beginning
of the opioid crisis. This experience shaped him
in many ways, giving him a unique perspective on
the struggles that drug-addicted patients face in
recovering.
