Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark as well
as one of the most populated regions. It is
located on the east coast of the island of New
Zealand and was originally a small fishing
village that was established during the 10th
century. Copenhagen has been an important hub for
art, culture, economics, and a major financial
center in Northern Europe. The heart of the city
remains interconnected via bridges, while the
streets are dominated by beautiful promenades,
waterfronts, historic sites, churches,
nightclubs, museums, and gardens. Some of the
most popular historic destinations in Copenhagen
include Amalienborg, Tivoli garden, Rosenborg
Castle, the Little Mermaid, Nyhavn, the round
tower, Christiansborg Castle, etc.

Tivoli Garden Tivoli garden is a popular
amusement park that first opened on August 15,
1843. Tivoli garden is the 2nd oldest operating
amusement park in the world and also one of the
most visited parks. After Europa Park, it is the
2nd most popular seasonal theme park in the world
and the 5th most visited theme park in Europe.
Tivoli garden is situated in Downtown Copenhagen
next to the Central rail station.

Amalienborg Amalienborg was the residence of the
Danish Royal family and is home to 4 identical
classical palace facades. It features an
octagonal courtyard, rococo interiors, a
monumental equestrian statue of King Frederick V.
Amalienborg was built for the 4 noble families,
today it is guarded 24/7 by Royal Life Guards.

Rosenborg Castle Rosenborg Castle was initially
built as a summer house in 1606 in Copenhagen,
Denmark. It is one of the finest remaining
examples of Christians IV architectural projects
drawing its inspiration from the Dutch
Renaissance style. Rosenborg Castle was designed
by architects Bertel Lange and Hans Vans
Steenwinckel. The Long Hall on the 3rd floor was
completed in 1624 and I the 2nd half of the 19th
century it was known as the Knights Hall.
Rosenborg Castle is a popular tourist attraction,
it houses the Crown Jewels, a coronation carpet,
the throne chair of Denmark, castle garden that
witnesses more than 2.5 million visitors annually.

City Hall Square City Hall Square is a popular
public square located right at the heart of
Copenhagen near the Copenhagen City Hall. It is a
popular spot for hosting several popular music
events, events, celebrations, and demonstrations.
City Hall Square is often used as a focal point
for measuring distances from Copenhagen and
features some of the most historic attractions.
Attractions include City Hall, Politikens Hus,
Vester Voldgade, and many more.
