    India. Due to this sudden expansion of carbonated
    drinks in India, beverage manufacturers from all
    segments are trying to seize the opportunity to
    establish their premium convenience products. But
    todays modern Indian consumer is well educated,
    and they are conscious of the benefits of various
    products in the market.
  • They know what they want and what kind of product
    would suit their lifestyle better. In recent
    years, consumers are becoming more
    health-conscious and what they put in their

    These novelty products are replacing the
    carbonated drinks with a more familiar taste that
    can be served on-the-go. What is working in
    favour of the iced tea are the health benefits.
    Iced tea is lighter than carbonated soft drinks
    in India, is higher on the cool quotient and
    provides a range of flavour options, with
    preference over other carbonated beverages.
    Hence, these indulgent flavoured teas have the
    potential to fill a gap for those consumers who
    are looking to move away from regular carbonated
    drinks in India.

    a hit among the consumers. Currently, India is
    going through rapid urbanization, with 51 urban
    population. Which is creating more demand for
    soft drinks and hence affecting the soft drinks
    packaging market. However, their preferences for
    packaging differ considerably from region to
    region. Thus adopting region and
    application-specific strategies is expected to
    result in better product acceptance. Soft drink
    manufacturers are also trying sustainable
    packaging due to the increased interest from

    created an opportunity for premium functional
