  • A learning center for Autism
  • Third eye, a unit of Sharanalayam is a charitable
    Not For Profit Organization recognized by the
    government of Tamil Nadu, India. It was started
    in the year 2013 with the aim of training
    children with developmental disabilities and to
    give scientific and evidence based training to
    intergrate the child to mainstream society. We
    provide ABA training and Intervention to Children

AUTISM

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) is a group of
    complex disorders of brain development with
    individuals having difficulties in but not
    limited to communication, Social skills and
    repetitive behaviors.
  • Some common signs for Autism
  • Poor Eye Contact
  • Repetitive behavior (Eg Rocking Back and Forth,
    Hand Flapping, Running in Circles, Arranging Toys
    in Line,etc)
  • Tendency to Isolate Self and Disinterest in
    Social interaction
  • Communication Difficulties
  • Talking to One Self(Echolalia)
  • Emotional Outburst( Eg Crying, Laughing,
    Hitting)
  • Difficulties in playing with toys in the
    appropriate manner

  • Applied Behavioral Analysis(ABA)
  • is a science which focuses on the principles of
    how learning takes place. Many years of
    scientific reasearch has been done on behavioral
    Analysis
  • through which many effective techniques has been
    developed to teach useful behavior and decrease
    problem behaviors
  • ABA Therapy and Autism
  • ABA is a widely recognized scientific method for
    behavioral Change. ABA Intervention can develop
    basic skills such as looking to complex skills
    such as reading, conversing and understanding
    another persons perspective.

  • Third Eyes interventions are based on ABA
    principles and Techniques
  • Focus on developing functional communication(
    Vocal and Non Vocal)
  • Take continuous data to monitor the behavior of
    interest( Increase or decrease)

    reinforcement where the behaviors to improve are

    the cause and develop intervention plan
