If you want to know what causes salmonella, the
treatment, and where it comes from, this article
may give you brief information about it. What is
Salmonella? Salmonella Is a type of bacteria. It
is caused frequently due to food-related illness
and can get transmitted from birds and Animals.
Salmonella cause upset stomach, diarrhea, fever,
and pain. On an average, ten million cases are
reported worldwide every year. Many chicks get
cured on their own within a week as it is a very
common type of infection. This infection is also
counted under food poisoning. Chicken especially
those who are just born are more likely to get
infected. Preventions and Causes. Wash hands
regularly before feeding, cooking, or eating with
soap or disinfect your hands using a sanitizer.
Keep poultry farms and broilers chicken
medicated, ensure proper vaccination for chickens
as per their schedule, antibiotics poultry should
be properly maintained, and Follow protocols

suggestions or guidance. Salmonella can also be
prevented by not consuming raw meat, unhygienic

Prevention Treatment of salmonella. If
Salmonella is found, in some cases the vet may
suggest anti-diarrheal medicine such as Imodium
A-D (Loperamide), in few cases, fluids may be
delivered directly into the vein i.e.,
intravenous. There are also some antibiotics for
salmonella like for chicks, azithromycin, and for
adult chickens, fluoroquinolones. Ceftriaxone and
Bactria antibiotics are some of the common
medicine solution practiced by doctors. There is
no need to panic if salmonella is detected, it
simply needs to be diagnosed in time and one
should get the proper medical treatment under a
licensed professional as soon as it is detected
in flocks. As important as it is to take
precautions to avoid salmonella, the Prevention
Treatment of E. coli is also very important to
look after and should be taken care of.
