• Shaktimaan is the best Indian superhero It is
  surprising indeed that people need to be
  convinced about this. A superhero absolutely
  revered by many. A superhero who has remained
  highly popular among the masses. We have seen
  Balveer, Karma, Hatim, and all others
  but Shaktiman has been way out of their league.
  In fact, Shaktiman has created a new league of
  its own which will be the yardstick for all other
  future superheroes.

• The way it captured the peoples imagination, no
  one did. According to the report of Indian
  Express 2003, Shaktimaan costume replaces the toy
  guns in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir, which
  remained far from the mainstream back then. Only
  the costumes colour is different. It was green
  then. School and college students often bunked
  their classes so as to watch Shaktimaan. People
  across different age groups were glued to their
  TV screens when Shaktimaan was playing. Such was
  the craze of the show.

• Shaktimaan started in Sept 1997 and went on for 8
  long years, finally ending on 27 March 2005.
  Written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali and Brijmohan
  Pandey, it went on to complete 450
  episodes. Mukesh Khanna Ji, who produced the show
  and played the role of Shaktimaan, became an
  iconic figure. People also loved the roles of
  Geeta Vishwas and Tamraj Kilvish played by
  Vaishnavi and Surendra Pal.
