Malts Although water is the basic necessity,
Malts are perhaps the most impactful beer brewing

Barely, Wheat, Oats, Rye, Corn, and
Rice. However, Barely is the most popular among

Water As one of the main ingredients, water
makes up 90 of your beer. It also serves as a
base for all other substances in the beer. Thats
why the composition of the water such as minerals
and TDS levels can directly impact the final
product in many ways. Even the minerals in the
water serve particular importance. In brewing
processes, only the soft and low mineral water is
used for a smooth, clean beer, whereas hard,
mineral-rich water is perfect for making hop
bitters stand out in the light beer.

Hops Its the most expensive beer brewing
ingredient and is only needed in a small amount.
They add and enhance bitterness and aromas to a
beer. It also has a preservative effect due to
its antibacterial qualities. There are various
types of hops available today, which are divided
into three categories that indicate their
purpose. These three categories are Bitterhop,
Aromahops, and Double Target hops. Bitterhop has
a high content of alpha acids, with a rather
bitter taste and mouthfeel. Aromahops have
volatile oils, which are used to add fruity,
spicy, flowery, or resiny aromas in beers. While
Double target hops are enriched with both alpha
acids and hop aromas.
