2Step 1 Sign Up Desklog
Visit desklog.io and click sing-up option The
dashboard will be like the one shown in the
screenshot This will take you to a page showing
"Get Started With 40 days Free Trail Now" as
shown in screenshot. Enter the details and
sign-up
3Step 2 Registeration Process
Registration process includes 4 steps to
follow. Initially, you will be having an option
of choosing two types of accounts namely
Organisation Account Freelancer Account.
4Secondly, enter the following details to create
organisation or freelancer account. Enter
details like organisation name, industry type
from drop down and team size.
5Third, Invite Team key Member To Track Their
Productivity. Enter the email id of the team
members to send the invite. Enable the checkbox
to send an invite as shown in the below
screenshot. The team members will receive the
link to get registered.
6Fourth, download the desklog App Once
registeration is complete a msg will appear
"Registration completed Successfully". Finally
download the app for desktop.
7Continue to reach the Admin
dashboard with the created team, as shown in the
screenshot,
8Step 3 Verification Mail
Click the "confirm your email address" A
confirmation message will be displayed on the
screen. See the screenshot
9Step 4 Account Activated Mail
An account activates email will be received to
the registered email id with login details.
10Step 5 Register Users
Click on the Register menu on the left side
panel, it displays the following two submenus.
User Team User Click on the User sub menu, it
opens the user sign up form to register the new
user.
11Enter the details under User Sign Up form as
shown in the above screenshot. User Role Choose
the User Role(System Admin/Normal User) from the
drop-down menu Email Address Enter the email
address of the user Click on the team sub-menu to
register the team members. Similar to user
registration, enter the details and click on the
Create Team button to register the team members.
12Once the user or team is
registered, the user or team members will
receive a welcome message with login details.
Step 6 User Receives Login Details
13The User can now download the
app for either the Windows or Linux operating
system.
Step 7 Download App
14Step 8 Install App
Enter the email id and password you received to
install the app. For Linux, use the command "
sudo dpkg -i Desklog-Client- 0.1.0.deb.
15Step 9 Install App
You will seeing an extention at the top of your
system, and the dashboard will be like the one
shown in the screenshot To download desklog
