What is Hydrosol?
Hydrosol is fragrant floral water obtained as a
by-product during the process of steam
distillation of flowers, leaves, stems, or other
parts of multiple plants. They are less
concentrated than essential oils but carry a
subtle aroma of the parent plants. Different flora
l waters have distinct aromas and applications.

Witch Hazel Water- It is a hydrosol distilled
from dried leaves, twigs, and bark of witch hazel
plant which is native to the United States. Its
astringent properties tighten the wrinkled or
sagging skin. It is also used as an ingredient in
medications meant for insect bites, itching,
teething, stings, hemorrhoids, and
irritations.  Rose Water - Rose water is derived
from the petals of roses. It is used as a
fragrant and soothing ingredient in face masks
and other beauty products and is applied as a
deodorant. Jasmine Hydrosol - Its botanical name
is Jasminum Officinale and it is made from
aromatic jasmine flowers. Jasmine hydrosol emits
a sweet lasting characteristic smell. It finds
applications in perfumes, lotions, creams,
toiletries and can be applied directly to the
skin. Lime Floral Water - Lime floral water is
obtained from the fresh aromatic rinds of fruits
of the citrus aurantifolia plant during the hydro
distillation process. Its citrusy pungent scent
is rejuvenating and refreshing. It works as a
toner and controls sebum production in the skin.
It is used as a flavouring ingredient in beverage
items as well as skincare products.  Orange
Blossom Hydrosol - Orange blossom hydrosol is
derived from the peels of orange during steam
distillation. It has a sweet mild orange-like
fragrance that is used in lotions and toiletries.
It also works as a flavouring agent in beverages.
