The causes why do I have jaw pain? A reason for
a toothache that is felt in the jaw is gum
disease and other gum contaminations. Once in a
while, a bone or sinus contamination causes jaw
torment. Another reason for a "toothache" that
is really from jaw inconvenience is
temporomandibular joint (TMJ) Some are local
(oral cavity), others more distant (jaw, sinuses,
face, joint, etc.). For each cause, different
levels of pain will appear, depending on whether
or not it is delayed to seek treatment.

Pain in the tooth When the softened part begins
to approach the nerve, the tooth first becomes
sensitive to hot and cold. Then the pain will
occur from time to time until it is almost
constant. Here are easy ways to get rid of tooth
pain. Cavities that are not treated in time can
lead to the formation of an abscess. An attack on
the heart of the tooth due to the multiplication
of bacteria affects the nerve, which eventually
fails. Cavities can happen at any age, including
baby teeth. We are not all equal in the face of
them. Some people have much stronger teeth than
others. But the quality of oral hygiene has a lot
to do with the appearance of these pathologies.

Symptoms of "toothache" In the event of a simple
decay that is not too deep, there will be no
symptoms other than the pain itself. It can
progress to pulsations or pain on the pressure
this is the case when we are in the presence of
an abscess.  Another symptom of the abscess is
the generally associated swelling, more or less
important, which can go as far as a very visible
deformity in the cheek. Some bacterial
infections lead to the appearance of purulent
collections or even a fever. These infections can
also invade deeper tissues which will also start
to swell. This is what we call cellulitis of
dental origin.

Some tips to reduce toothache First, check how
the painful area looks. The cause of the pain may
just be right in front of your eyes! Sometimes
very simple, good brushing and the use of
interdental brushes or dental floss can clear up
food debris and relieve pain, explains our
experienced dentist If you can do nothing for
me to eliminate the cause yourself, the taking of
analgesics can be considered, more or less
powerful according to the pain, but also
according to the age and the condition of the
patient The mouthwash may also be a very good
remedy to relieve the pain and wait until the
appointment with his dentist. Especially if the
mouthwashes have a somewhat numbing action that
will calm the pain and inflammation of the
gums Finally, anti-inflammatory drugs should be
considered if accompanied by inflammation pains.
Of antibiotics may be necessary, to different
degrees, if the origin of the pain is a bacterial
infection. In both cases, a medical prescription
will be necessary. It can be issued before the
appointment at the dental office, by the
attending physician for example.
