Infant Gas The Best Way to Combat Gas Issues
Babies can be gassy pretty. For them, it's normal
to pass gas 13-21 times every day! And why so
much? There are plenty of opportunities for
babies to swallow air, like when the baby is
breast feeding or crying.

When air gets stuck in the belly of your infant,
you might find that the baby
  • The Burps
  • Getting Fussy
  • Has been bloated
  • Cries
  • Farts
  • Has a tummy that is hard

  • Gassy babies may often look like they are
severely uncomfortable or in pain. If there's
another problem, how do you know? That's a sign
that it's normal if your baby is usually happy
and just fusses for a few seconds while passing
gas. Know that the gas will become less of a
concern for both of you as the digestive tract of
    your baby develops.

Verify the feeding spot. Try to keep the baby's
head higher than her stomach while breastfeeding
or bottle-feeding. "This way, the milk falls to
the bottom of the stomach and air goes to the
surface, and burping out is easier." Tip the
bottle slightly so that there are no air bubbles
in the nipple and use a nursing pillow for help.

  • Burp your baby. During and after she nurses,
one of the best ways to relieve gas pains is to
burp her. Lay her flat on her back for a few
minutes if she doesn't belch right away, and then
    try again. Regulate the climate.

Make sure that the nipple is still full of milk,
so that your baby is not chasing the formula with
the air. Keep these methods in mind and this will
help you to combat the question how to help
newborn with gas. You can also look for
all-natural waistbands as it would keep you
covered.
