Instructions Before Medical Abortions
Orlando Women's Center
A surgical procedure called dilation and
curettage (D C) is also an option for some
women who cannot perform medical abortions.
Medical abortion is a serious choice. If you are
considering medical abortion, you should meet
with your doctor to discuss it carefully.

Abortion Clinics in Orlando
Orlando Women's Center
Bear in mind that some doctors in some states may
have to perform elective abortions, and there may
be certain legal requirements and waiting times
that you must observe before performing elective
abortions. If you have an abortion after a
miscarriage, special legal requirements or
waiting times may be required. Medical abortions
do not require surgery or anesthesia. Abortion
Clinics in Orlando offer all the facilities for
the best services.

Consult the Doctor
Medical abortion is the use of drugs to terminate
a pregnancy. Medical care for medical abortions
is different from that for surgical abortions.
Medical abortion after a miscarriage or in cases
caused by medication can take place at home
within 1-2 days and does not require the presence
of your doctor. After your health education, you
go to the examination room for the abortion
procedure. The doctor will review your medical
history with you and answer any questions or
concerns you may have. The procedure is performed
and takes 5 to 8 minutes. After completion of the
procedure, a medical assistant or provider will
take you to the recovery room.

Services
Our trained and caring staff will accompany you
throughout the procedure. After your health
training you will meet with the doctor. The
doctor will review all medical concerns and
summarize your instructions. As soon as you see a
doctor, you can take the first part of your
medical abortion Mifeprex. You are given pain
medicine instructions, so use this advice to take
care of yourself. If the pregnancy lasts more
than 10 weeks, take the first drug (mifepristone)
at the clinic and return to the misoprostol
clinic 1-2 days later.

Early Medical Abortions
Early medical abortions are a routine treatment
for pregnancies up to 10 weeks, but it is not
suitable or safe for a client to perform an
abortion at home. If the pregnancy occurs after
the 10th week of pregnancy and the patient has
not received the pill, she can collect her
medication from the clinic and take it at home
instead. Abortion pill drugs, also known as
abortion pills, are a safe and effective way to
end an early pregnancy. The abortion pill is a
popular name for the use of two different drugs
to end a pregnancy mifepristone and misoprostol.

Know Types of Abortion
There are two types of abortion in the US
medical and clinical. If you decide to have an
abortion on medication, you will all receive a
pill that you can take at the Orlando abortion
clinic, or tablets that you can take home. The
clinic may ask you to come back for a second
visit to take the abortion pill. If you have an
abortion performed in a clinic, you all have to
make sure that someone drives you home.

Follow your Doctors Instructions Follow the
instructions of your doctors and check the
expected information about medical abortions.
Most women can return to normal activity within
one to two days of uterine removal. Avoid
strenuous exercises for 1 or 2 weeks. Do not have
sexual intercourse during this time unless
advised by your doctor. Little is known about
the effects of mifepristone on the developing
embryo. Misoprostol is associated with birth
defects when administered too early in pregnancy.
There is no evidence that early abortions affect
a woman's fertility. For some women, a surgical
abortion or a medical abortion can fail. Vaginal
misoprostol is more effective than other types of
medical abortions. It is most effective when used
after nine weeks of gestation of the embryo.
Methotrexate, which is given as a shot of
misoprostol, can also be used at home. As a
second medication, you can take up to 6
misoprostol per tablet. After taking the first 4
tablets, place them in your vagina, mouth or
cheek, or gums for 3 to 4 hours and then use the
remaining 2 tablets outside your vagina (on your
cheek, under the gums, or inside your vagina) or
place another 4 tablets as close to your vagina
as possible. Outcomes Successful or failed 2 to
8 percent of their time. Her pregnancy is more
likely than not to end well. A failure rate of
more than 8 percent is related to the early
decision in favor of abortion drugs during the
planned approval period. Only 2 out of 4 people
out of 100 feel this is a diplomatic attempt to
prolong the pregnancy. This is especially true if
you come to the clinic to try a medical abortion,
which is more of a surgical choice.

FINAL WORDS
In 1977, the Hyde Amendment prohibited the use of
federal funds for abortions, except for
pregnancies due to rape or incest, or pregnancies
intended to endanger a woman's life. When the FDA
approved Mifeprex in 2000, the Hyde Amendment
applied to drug-based abortions. For more
