ELTS stands for International English Language
Testing System. This is the worlds most popular
English language test that is conducted 48 times
a year with 1200 centers in nearly 140 countries.
The IELTS exam is required for migration as well
as for academic purposes in countries like
Australia, US, UK, New Zealand and Canada. The

Now lets look at the 3-tips on how to prepare
for the speaking test of the IELTS exam or how
to increase your IELTS speaking score.
4
1-Listen and repeat.
  • Watch TV shows and You Tube videos. Use them to i
mprove your fluency. Choose a short part of a
show and repeat it line by line. Try to match the
tone, speed and even the accent (if you can). It
doesnt matter if you miss a few words, the
important thing is to keep talking. Try to sound
just like the native speakers on the show.

5
2-Think in English.
  • Sometimes the difficult thing about talking in a
new language isnt the language itself, but how
    you think about it.
  • If you think in your native language and then try
to speak English, youll always have to
translate between languages. Translating isnt an
    easy thing to do!
