information technologies for handling different
processes and machineries in an industry to
replace a human being.

First PLC made by Father of PLC Dick Morley,
Bedford Associates 084 Modicon PLC in late 1960s
The first PLC began being developed in 1968.
General Motors designed a specification for a
Standard Machine Controller and distributed it
to vendors for a quote.
