Why we use Ofloxacin Eye Drops?

• Ofloxacin Eye Drops is used for the treatment of
  eye infections.
• It belongs to a class of drug quinolone
  antibiotics used for treating only bacterial
  infection.

How to use Ofloxacin Eye Drop?

• Wash/Sanitize your hands before using eye drops.
• Do not touch the dropper trip.
• Do not wear contact lense while using them.
• Tilt your head back, look upward and pull down
  the lower eyelid.
• Hold the dropper and place one drop of it.
• This is only used to treat bacterial infections.
• It may vary from patient to patient so it is

  prescribed.

  history.

• Use this eye drop once you are stable.
• This drug may cause temporary blurred or unstable
  vision, so one should be advised to not move for
  a while.

Side Effects of Ofloxacin-Eye-Drop

• Many people using this eye drop do not have side
  effects.
• Tell your doctor right away if you have eye pain,
  swelling of your eyelids or face.
• This eye-drop temporary caused blurred vision or
  burn of your eye for a minute or two when
  applied.
• You should immediately stop medication, if you
  have blurred vision, eye discomfort, itching,
  redness, dryness, tearing, feeling as if
  something in your eye or sensitivity to light may
  occur and consult your doctor.

Important Information Missed Dose

• If you missed a dose, use it as soon as you
  remember. If it is near the time of your next
  dose you are advised to skip the dose and
  continue from next time.
• Always use this eye drop regularly to get the
  most benefit from it because continue using it
  for the full time prescribed even if symptoms
  disappear after a few days
• Stopping the Ofloxacin-eye-drop medication may
  cause the bacteria to continuously grow which
  will result in a relapse of the infection at the
  lowest dose and slowly increase.

Storage and Disposal of the Ofloxacin Eye-Drops

• Storage Always store these Ofloxacin Eye-Drops
  in the container they came in, tightly closed and
  out of reach of children. Keep this away from the
  excessive heat and moisture. Do not freeze and
  store it at room temperature.
• Disposal To ensure that no one other than you
  consume it without a doctor prescription, you
  should dispose of it or drain it when not needed.
