6 Life Lessons We Can Learn From Ramayana

2
Importance of the mythological Hindu cult,
Ramayana
  • Ramayana defines the code of conduct and ideal
    models of relationships.
  • Even today, kids are taught about this epic so
that they can learn and inherit all the good
    lessons in life.
  • The stories of Ramayana may sound dramatic to
newest generations but there are many things that
we can learn from Ramayana for good.
  • With the rapid evolvement, it has become a rare
thing where you find a family reciting Ramayana
    to their kids.
  • Our grandparents narrated the story and asked us
to remember the morals of the story to become a
    better version of ourselves.

  • 1. Truth Triumphs
  • The basic teaching of Ramayana is that no matter
how powerful evil is, it will always be defeated
    by Good.
  • Truth always wins, no matter how vicious or
poisonous lie is because even a bitter truth
oozes with positivity and the sweetest lie has
    the darkest agenda behind it.
  • The win of good over evil is a universal fate.
  • A person should always have a noble heart and
    good values.
  • That is how Lord Rama defeated the most
    knowledgeable person in history Ravana.

hearts were united even when they were apart
    physically.
  • You should always stand by your family because
when together a family can win over any
    difficulty.

  • 3. Relationships are Valuable Than Money
  • The relationship between Rama, Laxman, and Bharat
is the perfect example why you should always
    value your relationships.
  • Every relationship should be above than greed,
    anger or treachery.
  • When Lord Rama was sent to van-vaas for fourteen
years, Laxman accompanied him and supported him
    in good and bad.
  • If we hold love higher above anything else in a
relationship, the value and respect increases and
    your soul stays pure.

  • Lord Rama treated everyone equally and thats how
he earned the love and respect among everyone.
  • He was the same person for everyone, whether they
were younger or older, poor or wealthy.
  • He ate the already tasted berry fruits without
hesitation when Sabri (the sage's daughter)

  • He was lured into his own trap of anger and
ultimately he signed his death warrant.

vengeance and revenge do not bring any good.
