CBSE Exams 5 Tips to Score Good Marks in Exams
2
  • Whether you are a student or their parents, the
very thought of board exams can take away your
sleep. It is the most crucial stage of any
students life, with their entire career
depending upon this one examination. Every
student has a dream to score the highest marks,
but where a majority of students lack is not in
inspiration but in direction. So, if you are one
of the students who aspire to score more marks in
CBSE exams, here are a few ways to help you
    achieve that

3
1. Know the Exam Pattern and Syllabus
  • It will help students understand the specifics,
such as the type of questions, the number of
questions, the marking method, etc. Understanding
the syllabus thoroughly would encourage students
    to scrutinize the topics effectively.

2. Practice is the key
  • After completing one chapter, solving previous
year paper questions based on that chapter is a
must. First try to solve them by yourself and
always write answers while solving. Solutions in
the book are given by a subject matter expert.
Always, check your answer with the solved ones.
Compare and find the way of writing. Check and
rectify the errors you have made. Always follow
the word limit to write an answer, do not exceed
or write below the word limit. Writing what is
being asked within the word limit is the key for
    a perfect answer.

3. Compete with yourself
  • It is a simple practice of life, to be the
better version of yourself today than you were
yesterday. Well, you can put this philosophy to
use, even when it comes to studying. Make it your
goal to beat the past, and for that you will have
to improve each day. Keep your target clear in
your mind, or better yet, write your target
percentage on a paper and stick it where you can
see it each day. Just being reminded of your
target each day will give you the motivation and
take you to excellent marks, as it did for me.
Strategize your study plan in a way that you can
beat your past performance and slowly reach your
    goal.

4. Clear your doubts
  • Solving your doubts is extremely important. Reach
to your school teachers or your coaching teachers
for any questions or topics that you might have a
problem understanding or solving. If you cant
reach your teacher immediately, make a list of
doubts and get them cleared later on.

7
5. Timing
  • Timing is very crucial. CBSE gives you a total of
three hours to write your exams. In those three
hours divide your time between important
questions. While solving mock tests see which
section takes the longest for you to solve and
work on it so that you can write the actual exam
    without any problems.

8
  • You must consider the exam tips and tricks for
students mentioned above to get the most out of
your exams. However, there might be other things
that work better for you, so explore every option
and ask your friends around to find out how they
prepare for their exams some of their final
exam study tips might help you as well.
  • You can even seek guidance from your teachers at
    school.
