Title: Concept of Perception

1
Concept of Perception
  • By Sanjeev Datta

2
Introduction
  • Perception is a common human tendency that helps
the brain to understand, comprehend, and
ultimately helps them to come to a final decision
    or choose their priority

3
W.B. Yeats
  • The world is full of magic things, patiently
waiting for our senses to grow sharper.

4
Meaning of Perception
Visit how to increase memory power
  • Perception refers to the ability to perceive an
emotion, vibe, or even an intention of a person,
phenomenon, or object even before encountering
it. The brain can prepare a person for the best
    or the worst.
  • It can also be termed as the ability that helps a
person to become aware of its senses.

5
Types of Perception
  • Perceptions are segregated according to the
pathway through which it is perceived i.e., the
different sensory organs of the body namely

6
Visit how to stop overthinking
  • VISION
  • TOUCH
  • To see an object or a person and get an idea
about what and how it can turn out to be.
  • Touch is so strong and dominant that it gives
away the vibes and motives of a person or an
    object.

7
  • SMELL
  • SOUND
  • TASTE
  • The smell of a certain object immediately signals
the brain about the kind of encounter it is about
    to face.
  • The concept of sound is interesting and quite
similar to that of touch as it also sends the
energy of the source to the person to decide if
    or not it is pleasant.
  • The taste here is, however, consisting of a
pre-conceived notion that helps the person
identify the things they are about to consume and
likewise make the decisions regarding it.

8
Importance of Perception
It is impossible to put down the importance of
perception through words but some of the vital
reasons are as follows
9
To help a person differentiate between good and
bad
To communicate better with the people from their
surroundings
To help develop the cognitive abilities of a
person
To build strong connections not only with people
but also with objects and good habits
To segregate the vices from the good deeds
10
