Additionality A project is qualified additional
when it could not be developed without the sale
of CO2 units and its own profitability,
exceeding institutional limits. A project that
responds to regulatory obligations is NOT
additional.
Measurability of emissions and permanence The
volume of sequestered emissions must be
measured, monitored, and their permanence
guaranteed. The credits or bonds are only valid

emissions is permanent.
