Use a Steamer
  • Love momos but dont have time to make them from
    scratch? Ready to eat momos are just what you
    need. You can easily cook them using a steamer.
    Fill the base of the pan with water and let it
    boil. Meanwhile set some cabbage leaves in the
    steamer tray to prevent your momos from sticking
    or line it using grease paper or oil. Put your
    frozen momos in the tray and when the water
    boils, put the tray on it, cover the streamer and
    let them cook for 15 minutes. Serve piping hot.

  • Dont have a bamboo steamer? Dont worry! Your
    microwave can come to your rescue. Find a
    microwavable container with a lid and arrange
    your frozen ready to eat momos in it. Sprinkle
    them with water, put on the lid, and pop them in

Pan fry Them
  • Momos are known to be as light and soft as
    clouds. However, if youre a fan of a little bit
    of crunch while still retaining their soft
    texture, pan-frying them is perfect for you. Add
    some oil to a hot pan, throw in your momos and
    let the bottom turn golden brown. After you see
    that the bottom is done, add half a glass of
    water to the hot pan, and immediately cover it.
    Give the momos 4-5 minutes to cook in the steam
    and then serve hot.

Deep Fry
  • If you love fried food and the crunch it brings,
    this one is an easy yet delicious way to cook
    your ready-made momos. In a vessel, heat enough
    oil for deep frying. Take your frozen momos and
    drop them in the oil you need not wait for them
    to defrost. Fry till golden brown and enjoy with

    momos, a momo chicken soup or a momo veg soup is
    a great idea. Fry some onions, meaty bones, salt,
    and water. You can always replace the bones with
    vegetables. Let this cook, and when your clear
    broth is ready ensure that there is enough
    liquid for the momos to cook. Throw in your
    frozen packets of goodness and boil for about
    8-10 minutes. While this boils shred or chop some
    vegetables like cabbage, carrot, spinach, and
    spring onions, add these into your soup and serve.
