students, medicine is considered one of the most
prestigious and costly disciplines. To help
address the financial needs of these students,
the Dr. Suhyun An Scholarship is an annual award
that is given to 2 scholars who exemplify a
commitment to academic excellence in the pursuit
of a career in the medical field.
3Goal of Scholarship
The primary goal of this scholarship is to make
medical school more affordable and more easily
attainable for students, and aid them in
realizing their dreams without the burden of
student loan debt shadowing over them.
4Three main requirements to be eligible for Dr.
Suhyun Scholarship
- A minimum weighted GPA of 3.0
- Two educational or reputable references
- A 500800-word essay describing why you are
pursuing a career in medicine.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in the medical field 2

800 word essay explaining why you are pursuing an
