Quickbooks update error 1603Resolve

• Restart the Windows Installer service if it has
  been shut down
• Microsoft may have set the Windows Installer
  service to be stopped. Setting it running allows
  you to change it. Upon restarting the service,
  Quickbooks update error 1603 should disappear.
  Control Panel Administrative Tools allows the
  user to change the status of this service.
  Services contains the Windows Installer. Changing
  its status is simple and takes just a second.

Here are the steps to follow for fixing this
problem.

• Windows users can access the Control Panel by
  going to the Start menu.
• Administrative Tools should appear.
• The Services window opens after a double click.
• Locate the Windows Installer service in the list.
• Check the box against the Windows Installer
  service to change its status. It is important to
  set the status to Running.
• In the end, make sure your system checks for
  error 1603.
