Introduction of Isolation Transformer

• Isolation transformer is one that
  contains two windings Primary and Secondary
  winding, that are separated from each other but
  wound on the same Iron core. so that the primary
  coil induces a current in the secondary coil. It
  just so happens that if the primary transformer
  coil is wound more times than the secondary
  transformer coil, the voltage would be decreased.
  The secondary that governs the output is, in this
  manner, separated from the input. In isolation
  transformer the Input and output are totally
  independent of each other except for the magnetic
  linkage between the two. We supply and export
  these Isolation Transformers in various designs
  such as step down isolation transformer or step
  up isolation transformer.

Description Of -
Isolation Transformer

• A transformer is a static electrical device
  which transfers power from one voltage level to
  another while keeping the frequency same. And, if
  the primary and secondary windings are coupled
  through a common iron core, they are considered
  as the Isolation Transformer. The Isolation
  Transformers significantly block the voltage
  spikes, switching transients and noise that
  originate in the supply side from being getting
  transferred to the load side. Some isolation
  transformers are built with a turn ratio of 11.
  Such transformers are exclusively built to have
  the same input and output voltage and are used
  for isolation only.
