ABOUT UNIVERSITY
 Founded in 1971, Symbiosis Skills and Open
University, commonly and popularly known as SSOU.
It was established by none other than
Dr.Shantaram Majumdar, Padma Bhushan awardee, for
his contributions in the field of education.
Since its establishment, Symbiosis has grown to
be into a large education group with twenty
schools and colleges under them. Additionally,
their strength in shaping up the education
industry can be easily grasped from the thousands
of students that are across eighty countries and
currently studying under various on-campus
programs.

 Symbiosis Open Education Society aims to
establish the promotion of vocational, as well as
a skill-based learning education system. This
also helped in distance learning through various
programs under the Symbiosis Open Education
Society. They aim to produce "industry-ready"
individuals for the future and growth. The
university had been providing Certificates,
Diplomas, and degree programs in various sectors
like Automobile, Construction, Architecture,
Retail, Mechatronics, Ports and terminal
Management, Wellness and beauty, and few others.
Thanks to their education and admission scheme,
which allows students from various backgrounds,
whether from a formal or an informal system, to
enroll easily and gain knowledge and the required
skill set for the industry.

HISTORY
Founded in 1971, Symbiosis Skills and Open
University, commonly and popularly known as SSOU.
They were established by none other than
Dr.Shantaram Majumdar, Padma Bhushan awardee, for
his contributions in the field of education. It
provides UG, PG, and diploma courses, and the
categories include management, engineering,
science, business administration, technology,
architecture, and few other fields. It had been
aiming to promote professional education based on
practical experience and also distance education.
Their education process begins in the month of
March every year, so if anyone wants to enroll
then they can have a visitor can also apply
online on the official website of Symbiosis
Skills and Open University. Symbiosis Skills and
Open University have partnered with various
industries too, which helps them to provide
proper skill set training for the students to
make them ready for the placement process and it
is also effective if the candidate wants to have
their own start-up. There also exists an active
Vocational and Employment Guidance cell offering
guidance and also short-term courses for local
farmers, women, as well as dropouts from schools.

on various examinations like MHT CET/JEE(MAINS),

• Symbiosis Skills and Open University has a great
  infrastructure and a lavish campus. It was
  constructed on fifteen acres of land. There is an
  excellent lab as well as a skill center facility.

  with the advent of the pandemic, the college is
  taking good care of hygiene. While temperature is
  always check at the entrance and a sanitizer
