ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Spread over an area of 1.5 lakh square feet,
Suresh Vihar University has a great line of

HISTORY
The journey of the foundational years of Suresh
Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) began in 1975 with
the establishment of Sahitya Sadawart School.
There were several institutions that are
available for women and underprivileged children.
There were also a lot of transformational policy
changes as the leaders of these institutions were
members of a political party as well. In 1994,
Gyan Vihar School fell into existence, the
mixture of both eastern western culture, and
the Gyan Vihar Universe was thus established and
became a known name. Then in 1999, a
technological wing of this institution was
founded, which was known as Gyan Vihar School of
Engineering Technology in the well-known areas
of Jaipur.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Library The title given to the university's
central library is the 'House of Wisdom'. Today
in the age of the electronic era, students are
not comfortable with traditional libraries. A
search for new knowledge in a short period led to
the development of advanced and emergence of ICT
and its application in a generation,
communication, and access of information became
easy. A large amount of information is present
every moment through print and electronic media.

• Hostel 
• Suresh Gyan Vihar University has very
  well-developed hostels, a luscious green
  environment, and a lot of other advantages. The
  hostel here is separate for boys and girls.
  Moreover, the Warde and other staff are very
  cooperative. Furthermore, the hostels are really
  big and spacious. They have good furniture and
  air conditioning options as well. Therefore, such
  rooms help the students be in their element and
  study well in their respective courses. The
  institute provides a portion of good and hygienic
  food at their mess.
• The I-tech Community 
• The basic aim of the I-Tech Community is to lead
  and enhance the technical and analytical skills
  of students by conducting seminars. Seminars
  involving programs to train students and
  workshops are present to let students know the
  latest developments. Hence, fulfilling the future
  requirements of any information technology
  industry. To basic need of the students when they
  participate in I-tech focuses is about receiving
  support, books or other journals, participation
  in society or social work, and also lots of
  learning.

good? Yes, SGVU is a good university. It fulfils
all the criteria for being a good university, and
it also has the infrastructure, the facility, the
equipment, the innovation, good faculty,
affordable education, discipline. Everything

than 200 staff at SGVU, including both teaching
and non-teaching. The academic staff at SGVU are
not just well qualified but also well-trained
professionals aiming at an all-round development
of their students.
