• Tyler Herbst (Baseball) completed an Associate
  Degree in Arts from North Iowa Area Community
  College, IA in 1998 and a Bachelor of Science in
  Physical Education from Lincoln Memorial
  University, TN, in 2000.

• Tyler Herbst (Baseball) started his career in
  2000 as a Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach at
  Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, TN.
  Gradually, acquiring the position of Assistant
  Baseball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator/Academic
  Liaison at Iowa Western Community College,
  Council Bluffs, IA. Tyler Herbsts
  responsibilities include conducting an evaluation
  of participant behavior within team guidelines
  and expectations.

• Additionally, Tyler Herbst formulates and
  develops practice plans and supervises strength
  training programs and other fitness/health
  training programs to improve the performance of
  baseball players.

• Some of the highlights of his accomplishments
  involve 2019 ABCA/Baseball America NJCAA Division
  1 Assistant Coach of the Year, 2012 NCAA Regional
  Tournament At-Large Selection, 2 All Sunbelt
  Conference Performers and Highest ranking of 27
  in three national polls 2005.

• Tyler Herbst (Baseball) has volunteered for
  multiple organizations in various roles,
  involving Athletes in Action summer collegiate
  baseball league assistant coach Fairbanks,
  Alaska. He coached 6 Major League Draft Picks,
  including first-round selections (Lance
  Broadway). In addition to this, as a Eugene Pate
  American Legion coach, Evansville, IN.

• Tyler Herbst achieved a runner up position in
  the American Legion State Tournament. He has
  participated in Habitat for Humanity, Evansville,
  IN, Miracle League Volunteer (baseball for kids
  with special needs), Little Rock, AR and Race for
  the Cure.
