Assam Police seizes cattles while smuggling in
Dhubri
GUWAHATI Assam Police seized five cattle heads
on National Highway 17 in Agomoni, Dhubri
district. Cattle are still being smuggled from
Haryana and other Indian states through West
Bengal and Dhubri to Indo-Bangladesh. According
to the sources, officials were unable to
apprehend the livestock trader, but the cattle
heads were seized during the smuggling. The
seized cattle were being prepared for smuggled to
Bangladesh through Dhubri, as per
sources. Cattle heads are being smuggled across
the border and Dhubri police have stepped up to
stop it.
