Some Important Etiquettes You Should Teach Your
Kids
Most of the time kids act impulsively doing
without knowing the consequences of their
actions. On the other hand, parents also what
their kids to learn how to behave but don't know
where to start.  There are many ways to teach
etiquette to children. For example, kids learn
the best by observing their parents. So, you need
to set an example of demonstrating good etiquette
in front of your kids.

because if bad habits are formed it will be
difficult to unlearn those habits. You need to
realize that kids follow their parents as role

kids Greet by name  Greeting Saavn is
considered as a sign of showing respect to that
person and he is important to us. Kids should
know how to create people whenever they meet
them.  Establish eye contact while talking to
others This is a basic but very important
etiquette that you need to teach your kids.
Encourage them to make eye contact with the
person they are talking to. Moreover, they should
not get distracted while talking to others as
this would send out a wrong signal to the person
with whom your kids are talking.

Positive comments Giving positive feedback
feedbacks or comments always motivate children to
learn something new. Whenever your kids show good
behavior or etiquette, please appreciate their
effort with some positive comments. Small
feedbacks will have a great impact when it comes
to learning etiquette and manners. Active
listening In preschools, teachers always
promote active listening amongst their students.
Please tell them that listening carefully to the
person who is talking is a good manner. Active
listeners are good learners and they leave a
meaningful impact on people around them.

Table manners Kids are always fussy eaters and
they tend to create a mess whenever they eat. You
can teach them good table manners from an early
age so that they do not waste food or create a
mess on the table. Using golden words Thank
you, sorry, and please are considered as the
golden words. So encourage your kids to use these
words in their conversation.  Children should
learn good etiquette to become responsible adults
in the future. But please be patient and give
them enough time while teaching them anything
new. Your positive attitude will encourage them
and help them learn better.
