ABOUT UNIVERSITY
The foundation of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University
(originally known as Agra University) was laid on
the 1st of July, 1927, as a result of hectic
efforts of a band of enthusiastic educationists
like Rev. Canon A.W. Davis, Munshi Narain Prasad
Asthana, Dr L.P. Mathur, Lala Dewan Chand, Rai
Bahadur Anand Swaroop and Dr Brajendra
Swaroop,. Original jurisdiction of University
extended over United Provinces of Agra, Central
India and Rajputana with 14 affiliated colleges
and 2530 students of which, 1475 students
belonged to United Provinces.

It was on July 1, 1927, that Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar
University (DBRAU), formerly known as Agra
University, was established. It is a state
university that is connected with Sarojini Naidu
Medical College and has been authorized by the
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
and certified by the National Assessment and
Accreditation Council (NAAC). Currently, more
than 200 colleges and universities are affiliated
with DBRAU, and 15 residential institutes are
located throughout the university's residential
campuses.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Library The College has a huge library which the
students can benefit from. Apart from that, there
are over a thousand books and journals with
internet facility, seminar and presentation
rooms. Moreover, with such an amount of resources
and the peace of the library, students would be
able to study diligently and score excellent
marks. Auditorium Education should not be
limited to the four walls of the classroom. Also,
a spacious seminar hall is also present in the
campus premises. Likewise, the room equipped with
an audio system and surround speakers so that the
speeches will be audible. Similarly, many
interactions, seminars, meetings and moral
classes held in the hall every academic year.

Computer Lab The college has a well-equipped
computer lab for the sake of practical education
in computer applications. Apart from that, it is
to say that they learn the latest trends and
developments in the computer world. Hence, it
made available to the final year students and the
staff of the institution. Also, it has a smart
class and a library of its own. Hence, it has ICT
enabled teaching and learning.   Canteen This
place is very comfortable for all the students to
relax for a while and refresh themselves. Apart
from that, college gives almost importance to
hygiene. Moreover, the canteen serves palatable
and delicious recipes to the students and staff
at moderate prices. Also, RO plant purified water
supplied in the canteen. Seminar Halls However,
Education should not be limited to the four walls
of the class room. A spacious Seminar Hall with
the capacity of more than 700 students is
allotted in the building. Moreover a big Digital
Screen with the capacity of 175 students
allotted. Likewise the room is equipped with an
audio system and surround speakers so that the
speeches will be audible.

Placements   Placements play a pivotal role in
every colleges reputation and also, in every
students life. Therefore, colleges placement
cell ensures that their students get to work with
best of the business companies with handsome
salary packages. Colleges placement cell trains
its students through the help of numerous
workshops, mock-interviews and such activities.
So, that they can get good job offers during
campus placements.     Career guidance cell
  Besides career guidance at the college level
plays an important role too. Also career
counseling is a process to understand yourself,
jobs too, exams too etc. Besides it is a form of
guidance to young students to take them on the
