3D SCANNING 3D RENDERINGS
If youve been using shrink sleeve packaging for
a while, you might be familiar with the older
process of using grid material to determine
shrink percentages and artwork distortion
requirements. While we still offer the grid
material process for companies that prefer it,
our new technology uses a 3D scanner and
specialized software to get faster and more
accurate results.

• 3D IMAGING HAS SEVERAL BENEFITS
• It removes the element of human error as the
  computer digitally shrinks the artwork to fit
  the dimensions obtained from the scanner.
• It allows us to build a detailed 3D rendering of
  what your artwork will look like on your specific
  container so that you know exactly what youre
  getting.
• It cuts out weeks of waiting by eliminating the
  back-and-forth shipping and the manufacturing
  time required by the usual proofing process.

GRAPHICS PROOFING
If you already have the artwork for your label,
Tango provides a complimentary graphics service
to adapt that design so that it will work on a
shrink sleeve. We also build a complimentary
digital proof so that you can see exactly what
youll be getting. Why is this so important? Its
because our labels are meant to shrink when
exposed to heat, so any artwork printed on them
shrinks too. To ensure that that artwork looks
right on the final product, we carefully
determine the shrink percentage that will apply
to each part of the label, then we distort the
artwork accordingly to compensate for the
container shape. This is a unique process, but
since we shrink sleeve specialists, you can trust
our team to get it right.

SHRINK SLEEVE FORMATS
All shrink sleeves are designed to shrink when
exposed to heat, but the process doesnt look the
same for every product. Depending on the volume
and speed needed, they can be applied by hand or
by machine. If youd rather outsource the label
application, we also offer contract sleeving and
packaging.

• TANGO OFFERS A FULL RANGE OF FORMATS FOR EVERY
  APPLICATION TYPE
• ROLL STOCK TUBING
• This is the best option for high-volume,
  high-speed application of full-body sleeves, but
  roll stock requires machine application. If you
  dont already use shrink sleeve packaging, we can
  help you select the equipment youll need.
• CUT BANDS
• Cut bands are delivered in stacks for hand
  application. They are a great option for
  lower-volume jobs, especially those requiring
  full-body sleeves.
• PREFORMS
• Most commonly used for tamper evidence or extra
  lid security, preforms arrive partially shaped
  for fast and precise hand application.
